Reassessment Property Inspections - A message from Lake County Assessor LaTonya Spearman
Reassessment of real property is an essential function of local government, specifically the Assessor's Office. In order to accomplish that function, employees and contractors of the Assessor's office routinely perform site sections.  This function is essential to reassessment and thus any individual performing that function should be exempt from the "Stay at Home" order.  At this time, I have instructed any individual performing this function to inspect exteriors of property, including taking measurements and photographs.

Anyone with any questions may contact Assessor LaTonya Spearman at assessor@lakecountyin.org or (219) 755-3100.
