Now Accepting Boards and Commission Applications for the following. 

Storm Water Management Board – One open position.  This Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:00PM. The Board is charged with the oversight of the Storm Water utility, including making recommendations to the Town Council. The candidate can either be a registered Republican, Democrat or Independent. 

Police Commission
– One open position. This Board meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00PM. The candidate can either be a registered Democrat or Independent.

Disability Advisory Board – The principal mission of this Board is to provide a mechanism to both solicit input from and educate the community to continually improve the Town’s efforts on accessibility of events, meetings, programs, appointments to Boards and Commissions and employment opportunities and quality of life for all residents of Dyer. No meetings have been set yet for this newly formed Board. The candidate can either be a registered Republican, Democrat, or Independent.

Park Board — The Council will solicit applications for one potential vacancy.  The candidate may be a registered Independent or Republican.

The Town Council's Office will be accepting applications until noon on February 5, 2020 for residents that are interested in filling one of the vacancies. Please find the application on the homepage under forms to find a Board & Commission application. Return the completed form by mail to the Town Council Office at One Town Square, Dyer, IN, by fax at 865-4233, drop off at the Office or by email at thedrick@townofdyer.com.
