Recycle Dyer!

Watch for the Town of Dyer's new trash and recycle containers coming to the parks in 2015! Please help us by placing all recyclable material in the blue recycling units which have been made from recycled content. Standard trash containers will be green and are made from the same recycled content.

Online Registration Now Open!

Online registration is now open! All Dyer residents and surrounding communities can go to Parksregistration.townofdyer.com to visit our new registration website. All current programs/event offerings, facility rental availability and a letter from our Park Board President can be viewed. If you have ever registered with the Dyer Parks and Recreation Department for a special event or program in person or by mail and provided a email (that we have on file), you already have an online account.  Please follow these steps to access your account:

  1. Click on Sign In in the top right, you do not need to create a new account.
  2. On the next page, click on "Forgot your password?"
  3. Type in your email address (email address you gave us when registering) 
  4. A temporary password will be sent to your email that is on file. Log in with the temporary password.
  5. If you need help, please call 219-865-2505.

If you are new and have never registered for a special event or program before, please follow these steps:

  1. Click on Sign In in the top right corner.
  2. Click on Create Account button. 
  3. Enter in all your information, click create profile and your all set. 
  4. If you need help, please call 219-865-2505.

The 2017 Summer Leisuregram is now available! Lots of programs are being offered this upcoming season, such as, youth summer camps, skyhawks sports instruction, 2nd annual Dad and Lad, tball, painting, adult fitness, Chicks Fun Run and more. Registration begins the week of April 10th, so please click the link below to check out everything being offered. Registration can be taken in person at the Parks and Recreation Office at Town Hall, by mail or dropped off in the silver after hours drop box in the Town hall parking lot. Starting this fall, online registration will be available! We hope to see you out this season.

Central Park refined Master Plan

The Dyer Park and Recreation Board recently approved a refined master development plan for Central Park. This long term development plan for the park shows the ultimate goal of providing recreation spaces for all ages while also being aware of the parks location between future commercial development and existing residential development.
