What are Executive Meetings?

On limited number of extremely sensitive issues, state statute allows town officials to hold meetings closed to the public. Executive Meetings are the forum for discussing these issues. Executive Meetings can be held in regards to the following: Litigation, Property Acquisition, Specific Personnel Matters. Note though that any action plan resulting from an executive meeting cannot become official until such action is approved at an official public meeting.
